#22: Brad- Teaching English in Japan

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” (Nelson Mandela)

Having started out as an English teacher with the JET programme (Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme), Brad has now lived over 12 years in Japan! We talk about teaching English abroad, how much learning a local language can transform a trip, and the little things that led him to pursue a Doctorate of Education in Postsecondary Leadership.
