MomAlong continues to be one of the best projects I have ever created. It is still entirely offered on Zoom, yet society has shifted.
So, I am re-dreaming about what MomAlong could be in addition to a high value community experience that makes creativity accessible. Re-launch in the fall.

I’ve been co-working with my sister for years, but this time we are leading a creative journalling project for folks with chronic symptoms. It's an extension of what I've learned from MomAlong, and my greatest insight is that I love working in this collaborative way.

I read the power of fun this winter (Catherine Price), and it is still in my head. There is actual science behind fun and ways to make True Fun more likely to happen. Spoiler alert: it is hard to have fun if you have a cell phone on you. Distraction takes away the likelihood of fun.
Ramping up my commitment to fun and less tech is in development. For now, I'm jamming on guitar with my mom, anticipating camping trips, and writing about little everyday delights.
Three years old now, he has lost all of his baby-like features, even the curls! We are discovering new ways to be together, like by playing board games, doing puzzles, and Forest School at Fort Whyte. He listens very intently to any and all song lyrics.
